HOW TO USE ESSENTIAL OILS TO MANAGE STRESS

We all deal with stress on a daily basis, and while a little amount of it is normal, long term or chronic stress can have adverse health consequences. In order to manage stress we need to be able to activate our relaxation response and bring our bodies into homeostasis. Essential oils can help.

You may have read that Lavender is calming and can help you relax but there are so many others that you can use to manage stress. In this workshop I will introduce you to four essential oils that help to

  • Activate your relaxation response

  • Promote sleep

  • Manage emotions

  • Reduce the physiological effects of stress on your body

I will show you the many ways that you can incorporate them into your life immediately. I experienced an almost immediate transformation to lower stress levels, I think you will too! - COMING SOON

BLENDING ESSENTIAL OILS: MAKING THE WHOLE GREATER THAN THE SUM OF ITS PARTS

Essential oils are beneficial on their own. However, when you combine them with other essential oils there is a synergy which increases the benefits even more. Essential oil blends are created to build upon the qualities of individual essential oils and make them even better, kind of like a team working together to accomplish a goal.

Have you ever wondered:

  • Which oils work together and why?

  • How many drops should I use?

Some factors to consider include the desired effect of the essential oil blend, how the essential oil blend will be used, the chemistry of different essential oils, and the aroma profile of each oil. For instance, Lavender essential oil by itself is calming and relaxing and can support sleep, but if you add Cedarwood and Roman Chamomile, these properties are increased and enhanced. This is called “synergy”.

This workshop will give you the confidence to make your own blends for all of the different curve balls life throws at you. - COMING SOON
